Metarly is built to respect your privacy. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
What we store
- Your favorites, home airport, units, and appearance settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to us.
- Metarly has no user accounts and does not require you to sign in.
Location
- If you grant location access, Metarly uses your approximate location only on your device to find nearby airports and center the map. Your location is never transmitted to us, stored on a server, or shared with third parties. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings.
Weather & airport data
- To show weather, Metarly requests data directly from public aviation weather services using only an airport identifier or a map region — never your identity. Sources include the NOAA Aviation Weather Center, OurAirports, a community D-ATIS service, and a radar tile provider. Those services have their own privacy policies.
No tracking or analytics
- Metarly contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Subscriptions
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Metarly never sees your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs the transaction.
Children
- Metarly is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
